excitement
Sometimes such a broken foot has a good side. At least he did it for me: When I hobbled on crutches again for the matatu, a Kenyan went over with a car and asked me if he could take me to stop. I was grateful and got inside. The Kenyan was Shaq and made no attempt to excavate me in any way. He did not even ask for my phone number. It was just a very pleasant "ride": A few weeks later I was drinking with a friend and something hit him there again. My friend recognized him immediately and had him immediately say how much he appreciated his work and that he an idol for him. ?? I asked Mash, my buddy, who he was and he told me that Shaq would be a well-known television and radio host. Bingo! I immediately Shaq involved in a conversation and told him, among other things from my radio project. He was very interested and a couple of meetings later and the development of a friendship between us, I had him so far was that he was willing to provide more training for my radio class. It's great to have someone who knows in the Kenyan media landscape. And even if he is a typical Kenyan (he has not been observed at least 4 classes), I am glad to have his support. Thursday we had finally Training with him. He told us that Hot96 (is that the radio station for which he works), new moderators investigated and that today happens to audition. My students go to an audition! :) I hope to get many and I am very curious to see how it is run. Even though I no longer everything soo seriously, what Shaq promises, I'm curious to see how things take their course with his help.
