finally happy again
I know I promised a continuation of the described experiences. But I think I have to write first about something beautiful, because the events that have occurred in relation to Shaq, are not for European thought and sense of justice to understand: corruption, unintelligible mentalities, police repression, threats, etc.
But before yesterday I had has long been a very, very nice day. Haba na Haba was at you at Ola. This is the Norwegian, who has spent a year at Haba na Haba and allowed me to meet during this time to learn and appreciate. He has traveled with 18 Norwegian music students Haba na Haba and really took off! Together we have making music, singing, eating and laughing.
After the first rehearsals, I had to clock up 16 in a Boys School (a boarding school for boys), I'm just about to build a choir there. The enthusiasm and appreciation by the students who suggested that I meet there, was overwhelming. We have studied Shackles (a gospel song) and I will jett regularly (every Friday) in this school go to teach there.
am After I drove to a concert by one of my students. It was held at the Alliance Francais (a French Cultural Centre) held in the city center. Stan (my students) was the main act. It all happened in the garden from the Alliance Francais. A large Stage, a very pleasant atmosphere, nice people and great music made me entirely happy. There is nothing better than a good open-air concert. When it was Stan's turn, I was really living! He actually had everything I had taught him in breathing techniques and improvements implemented. He was announced as the new star of East Africa and I came from the permanent grin not get out. He has always had an amazing voice, but his problem was that he gave too much air in the notes. Suddenly, the excess air was gone and the voice was overwhelming. I stood in front of the stage and was just proud of him.
Happy and managed the day, I drove a taxi home and fell into a deep night's sleep. My year is not so beautiful come to an end. Am 30.12. I see someone almost die (not far from my house). A man was attacked by someone with a huge stone. He had a completely zugeschwollenes eye, a large laceration to the head and had blood smeared on his face entirely. That was really bad for me because many people stood around him, but no one has done something. I had to convince two Kenyans to help me to maneuver him into the recovery position. When I asked for a first-aid kit, no one felt responsible and I ran back into the house to fetch disinfectant spray and associations.
When I just supplied the head of the victim, was a Kenyan to me, pointed his finger at me and shouted at me, what I do here and I would kill him. He was obviously drunk, but I met his words. I tried not to pay attention to him and continued. In Kenya, there is no real working ambulance and I was wondering how we would get him to hospital. It was a Kenyan who was willing to drive the injured to hospital, but only if at least 5 other people would ride to confirm that the driver had nothing to do with the attack. But unfortunately found themselves, to come along in spite of the many people standing around, no 5, who were ready. So the driver invited the victim again and drove off. Among the bystanders was also my good friend of Shaq, the victim directly identified as the owner of the bar next to his bar and his family informed so that they could pick him up. 20 min. later, the family and brought Jorome (the name of the injured) to the hospital.
ran in direct connection back to the pub and all the spectators enjoyed themselves. I did not understand the world anymore. My mum, who, after I got the bandages, had come to it was similar. But the story is still more incredible. The next day I went to the pub to hear about Shaq, as it were Jorome. He told me that he would be out of danger. The relief was huge on my part.
before yesterday when I again went to the bar of Shaq, he told me that Jorome would accuse him of being the perpetrators of this crime. What??
I could not believe my ears. Godi had observed the incident and was Shaq running the pub to seek help from him. Shaq was not even so definitely present when it happened. In the evening he then had a conversation with Detective Inspectors him arrested and locked up without hesitation. ". Been arrested for attempted murder": I only got a text message from him

Cut Roof Of Mouth Bleeding
Where is the water go?
This post is a bit dated. I wrote it in the second month.
Today I woke up and wondered, what a noise in the village there. When I looked out the window down about 20 children were in the process zufüllen tubs with water, first thing that came naturally rather strangely. After breakfast, I was just starting to rumzumeckern, why no one washes his pottery, as I told the children that it somehow was no water in the village. As the tank on the roof with me, so used almost exclusively by me and Raymundo is my roommate at the Casa Comunal, of course there was still some water with us and so every house had a pair sent kids to bring water to get from us . stop was a bit stupid, especially the older girls were a bit irritated, because they yes had now without a shower in the school.
What happened? Down in the fields, there is a large pumping station that transports the water into a large tank on one of the mountains. The water tank was empty, so the problem had somehow down at the plant are. After my first lesson, I then went down because Richar, my next student was already down to get the pump to help it back on track. Because something was apparently blocked, Daniel had to climb one of the guys in the well. We have fished out then so good stuff. In addition to branches, rocks and mud, for example, a slipper had been lost in the well. Tio Hibo told me afterwards, that would actually be a mobile phone igendwo in the well.
lacked Just fuel for the motor of the pump, we got quickly out of the orphanage. It was pretty awkward, however, that the closure of my canister was slightly damaged, and I realized later that all my pants were full of gasoline. Everything worked as it should and we also had more water in the village. Since it still took a while until the tank filled again, I had a couple of hours, stinking of gasoline, running through the village.
evening we have then we made really comfortable. While the other houses have eaten, we are from Casa Uno, went into the kitchen and have a birthday breakfast for Yarisse preparation. She is the biological daughter of Tia Maria and Tio Jose, Tios in the Casa Uno, so I do not know if there is such a celebration of every birthday of the children. At least their parents anticuchos have worried, then we prepared together. After we had eaten together and had unpacked Yarisse some presents, there were still some candy for everyone. Very cute I found Waldir that evening. Since it obviously took a little until we had everything ready, it was already quite late, until we have eaten. Waldir and is constantly eating, and almost fell asleep with his head in his food. But he wanted in no circumstances going to bed because he knew that everyone would get a bag of candy.

New Year holiday
Hi, I was
from 25.12 to 2.1 in the holidays and would like to report in detail in this post it. But first:
Christmas was very nice here. The children in the project have been incredibly pleased with the Christmas gift-donation-kicker. At this point, once again many thanks for the many Donate! have
Christmas Eve I spent with my host family and another volunteer and the program moved to in Germany , not so dissimilar. First there was a festive dinner (turkey), in which the whole family was present. My host father gave a lot of love speech in which he and the other volunteers I was not called as guests but as family members. After dinner there was the gifts. To the show we are but then stopped going because the film which we previously wanted to see had taken longer than planned.
The next day, I went with 7 other volunteers to the coast by canoe, where we arrived on the morning of 26 arrived. There was, however, quite rainy but very warm and you could not do anything. After a day at the beach and flying kites, we went to Puerto Lopez where we were caught directly from a guide at the bus station. This showed us a great hostel for $ 8 per person per night with breakfast - a very good price. But that was not all. He made us also a 2-day tour options: On the first day Isla de la Plata (Small Galapagos) and the next day to the most beautiful beach in Ecuador "Los Frailes" and to the thermal springs in "Agua Blanca". We accepted the offer and have not looked back.
On the island there were unusual birds (with blue feet) and we snorkeled for about 1 hour. That was also the highlight after I had first overcome the fear of the resident hammerheads. Los Frailes turned out to be a dream beach, with blue 25 degree warm water and completely clean. You could also walk to a lookout point and shoot great photos of pelicans flying by. In Agua Blanca, we have then in the sulfur smelling water fall and also made a Schlammpealing with us: D.
went to this activity-filled days I was then separated from the group and went to Atacames (another coastal town) to celebrate New Year with a few other volunteers. There I was first surprised by the fact that there was in the region because of a broken pump station no more water. But the more reason for joy and we had been lucky to have a pool near the swim, we were able to be clean and after 2 days then the water came again.
New Year's Eve we were at the beach, was burned out at 0:00 clock throughout the year in the form of old dolls. To luck next year to have had to jump 3 times by the fire.
also been tested on the evening my samba skills, I was persuaded to take part in a dance competition, where was the applause of the audience voted the winner. Of course I had no chance against the five Ecuadorians against which I took, but the amount found my pathetic attempts to mimic the incredible movements, at least, so entertaining that they applauded me as the winner. I have never seen anyone dance before Samba see us have to say that I'm really impressed! A total of more difficult but also very cool dance.
then ended with the holidays, and after a last quiet day at the beach we returned to Quito back.
Until next time!

Leroi Air Compressors Spec A219
excitement
Sometimes such a broken foot has a good side. At least he did it for me: When I hobbled on crutches again for the matatu, a Kenyan went over with a car and asked me if he could take me to stop. I was grateful and got inside. The Kenyan was Shaq and made no attempt to excavate me in any way. He did not even ask for my phone number. It was just a very pleasant "ride": A few weeks later I was drinking with a friend and something hit him there again. My friend recognized him immediately and had him immediately say how much he appreciated his work and that he an idol for him. ?? I asked Mash, my buddy, who he was and he told me that Shaq would be a well-known television and radio host. Bingo! I immediately Shaq involved in a conversation and told him, among other things from my radio project. He was very interested and a couple of meetings later and the development of a friendship between us, I had him so far was that he was willing to provide more training for my radio class. It's great to have someone who knows in the Kenyan media landscape. And even if he is a typical Kenyan (he has not been observed at least 4 classes), I am glad to have his support. Thursday we had finally Training with him. He told us that Hot96 (is that the radio station for which he works), new moderators investigated and that today happens to audition. My students go to an audition! :) I hope to get many and I am very curious to see how it is run. Even though I no longer everything soo seriously, what Shaq promises, I'm curious to see how things take their course with his help.
