Now I have the first week of project work in behind me and it was really interesting!
The children are very affectionate and devoted, but sometimes quite difficult. A 9-year-old who in the project lives as if he gets angry is knife from the kitchen to get his way, and another has several bikes from other children, a wall thrown down because he said they were not brought to the right place.
have the other hand, the same guys totally looked after caring for a little girl in the park that did not know where his parents were.
Now I'm glad the weekend is because it was a tough week. Yesterday I had climbed
with three other volunteers, the "Vulcan Pichincha, the volcano right next to Quito. It was really exhausting because the air was very thin and we were very proud when we finally on the top (4800 m) came in (the Wanderung hatte allerdings nur 700 HM).
Bis Bald!
