The first weekend ...
Now I'm in Peru for a week and I am getting used more and more to living here at the orphanage. So slowly I begin to understand more and more to speak and to integrate myself. This works with the names of the children and Tios even better and the many dogs are everywhere mitlerweile switch to no more reason for me to cross the street.
This weekend was also already a lot going on. On Friday afternoon, the last training before the point was playing on Saturday. For the older children were from her coach, a sports student, picked up at the orphanage. We went to a small, sandy path, until we a small asphalt playground reached between some huts. The Kids play This mostly footsal , with 4 players and a goalkeeper, since there really are no grass courts. After practice we went back to the orphanage, where the others had already started cleaning up everything. Every Friday is here, namely a basic cleansing of the village on the plan.
On Saturday we made our early as 7 am on the way to Lima. All players and players and Leo, Marie and I as a supervisor, stuffed into a micro who drove us to Lima to the games. Why so early we had to drive off, then wait there for 3 hours, until the girls finally had their game at 12am, I still do not quite understand. I think we were the first team, which arrived and one of the last, which was finally still there. could, however, was not so bad because I used the time up to the games to purchase with a Leo simcard for my phone. returned
Then when I started the girls also play on the same. Unfortunately luck was not on our side and even in the first minute was one of our best players an elbow in the face and had to be replaced with a bloody nose. This setback could compensate for our team and we unfortunately lost the game 4-2.
The guys it worked a bit better but again we did not get a 4:4 against guys of CIMA , another organization also Cieneguilla , also. On the way back, the mood was still good and the micro turned into a little party bus. Suddenly there was a loud bang and I was pretty scared. Just next to me, I was sitting right in front Micro , was another bus will come a little too close and had taken our side mirrors. The bus driver said, it was not so bad and would happen more often.
Back in the village had then Tia Maria and Tio José output and I was alone with the kids . But this was not a big problem because the older ones have helped me the smaller bullies at bay to hold.
On Sunday I went back to Marie moved to Lima to get us to the Internet. After we arrived in Miraflores were, we really wanted to also see something else than just the typical tourist spots. So we made our way towards the center. Somehow was not such a great idea, because after 2 hours we had to run and are simply tired of the Metro moved back to Miraflores . There we have discussed then beaten 2 hours with a staff of Claro, until we were finally able to sign the contract for the Internet. I am now reconnected with the world and the next Posts will soon follow.
