BigDog: the next generation
After a long break I show here are some videos that reflect the current state of the ways in robotics:
I did not expect to see something already this year. The
Gleichgewichtsgefuehl is very close and I think so to that of real life. While it still looks relatively angular and very quickly it is not progressing, but the Schluesseleigenschaften to master the necessary reflexes are already defeated. I mean, you take with BigDog a hurdle that brings the motor development of robots, a giant step forward - as I see it, anyway.
Also of Boston Dynamics:
Not bad. The Passenger is really impressive. In Unlike BigDog LittleDog and is also the speed on level ground rather high. Also a good example of how the wheel that practical in nature for biological reasons is not possible, the terrain can also play to its advantages.
And lastly still a humanoid robot that was developed by a PhD at TU Delft in the Netherlands:
I do not think he would cope with a regular side kick as BigDog. But the movement is already quite naturally when you return from the "square" while apart.
