All good things come to an end ...
... and the bad (probably) too. Nevertheless, the bad news first: My health is coming back to the end. My left ear starts to torment me. And while skipping feels more like my head against a ton of lottery to head.
Maybe this is a good time to be medically to deal with ear and head: D So far was I's sickening dull ... now it might be helpful:>
Well, well: there is another bad news. It is even very bad. Namely, on 27.12, we were not diving, despite months of planning by Chris. And just because Chris is an idiot! : D Not only that - he says to not even know, why it did not work ... Maybe it does
times my health quite well, not sick diving. And one probably. It is so, what's in "The Alchemist" is ... the World soul wants me not dead see ^ ^
The good news: New Year's Eve was wicked (although not as hard as the party for Sweta and Viktor Mantaj where I have my mother for the first time seen drunk properly, but even close. Although I'm still sober!) and correct work is again in sight. This month will happen that is 2 things: first, a work plan is established, which - as our director, and the good old burden - our contract is to be considered. And secondly, I have Madame Claudia - this is a woman who works as an aid worker with the DED and since December in my office about 3 meters away from me sits - offered to integrate me into their work, if I do not get enough to do and my thirst is not satisfied. Although then there's not much time for Nixtun's, 'I rate's sometimes as good news.
And again briefly to my New Year's Eve. It was really cool hammer.
If I would have described briefly, I'd's "War of the Worlds" call:
At 18 clock we (Vinc and I) went to the first party to which we were invited. That was a party where we were the main personalities, without knowing it beforehand, 'We come in the house of our Office cook - they called Fee and lives 1 minute from our office away - and see: who' get a table set up on the 2 chairs for both of us and the right conditions for their expensive food such as spaghetti and 'n is a whole chicken. Only the daughter knew English. The food was still really delicious, and fun we had quite a lot - even though we were as so often bombarded on such celebrations with any kind of shit that can not understand it because it of 3 / 4 Waray, almost 1 / 4 unintelligible babble and the rest of English is: D
The family wanted us to stuff up all night with food and has set this out - we are assholes but were still invited to 'ne other party to which we are then very many, "You must remain! " and just as many "We definitely try to come here with 100% certainty, again, ok? ?. Have 12 clock, ok "even married yet
This party was also the stark contrast to the other from very poor to filthy rich from good food to hammer sick good food
But on that tomorrow... Am) At the moment I namely . too lazy to keep writing and I also want to see Vincent now 'nen Film on' Ner beamer-screen illuminated the corresponding projectors, we have stolen aus'm Office.! D
So, Happy New And tomorrow, on 02/01/2010 (haha what a funny date: D) comes here, 'ne ^ ^ complement

Semen Smelling Like Fish
White Christmas in Paradise
Yes: Just have a Christmas, I experienced and yes. Because I driven it with guys ... no, ok 13 other Weltwärtsler and I were. on Binabasaalan, a very small island in Leyte Gulf, somewhere before Salcedo, with white coral beach. The typical Christmas, positive winter feeling would be set is not, but 'ne Christmas party with a blood alcohol at 30 degrees is not too bad either.
despise value is not, but still not very nice to look at are my legs. 2 other slightly drunken volunteers (Chris and Theo) did not miss the sand box (with 'precious pile of sharp, nasty, dead coral instead of sand) work and roll around - and I was placed just below ...
direct the next morning (after I've noticed's)'s looked much worse than in the picture. ... Still full of blood and 'War (
in any case' ne very funny thing, Christmas
I hope you had fun and also your great gifts you get it, hopefully, (as Chris and especially Theo:: mostly red with the inflammation.. D)
Anyway Now the serious business of life begins again... learning, learning, learning, sleeping, doing nothing - until it is back to work
Sounds boring to - and will continue to slowly Somehow, my body slowly struggles against the make all the shit sitting in the office to do Lying in my large room, no ambient noise -. it would be with the whole (especially learning) much easier -.-
... I write then come back. Until denne:)

Vasomotor Rhinitis Cured Successfully
Short clarification!
So, again for those that have somehow misunderstood: I work here not auf'm construction. This was to be originally in the project n training center for construction, but I would never work in construction in a developing country. How can anyone accept it that way and uncritically leave, if you's already understood so is me now n puzzle - but two people's far have done it before: D
I'm in the DTI office and have here mainly work on the PC or at seminars. Did not really do too much with site =) Not even with training center, I must admit. This exisitert but not easy. So I just sit in 'NEM Office:)
Otherwise: Enjoy your studies, you monkeys, P

Gym Bunny Theme Party
surprises again, "ego trip to misery!
an ego trip, but not destitute. Rather, the adventure land
(How is indeed indicated in the article, but not used in the title:>). Here in the city (auf'm country with the other volunteers is the most often also a different way) can be seen namely not at all soo much of the real misery that brings people to despair. Poverty - of course - you can see everywhere here. Also, people often go hungry - though not starve - have to. But real "misery", as I understand it, or as Wikipedia defines it (see quote), have I personally seen little in the Philippines.
The family is always followed by one at every turn has, by the way not only the positive (Less loneliness, help in an emergency, ...), but also 'n few of some perceived negative effects (no privacy, nepotism, oppression, little choice, ...).
Anyway, even if the standard of living is relatively low, the people who run the way I usually have quite cheerful. They seem to cope quite well with it.
can very well imagine that it is in so many other / Africa / war-torn countries is much harder to bridge unwanted, very stressful side of life and to enjoy their daily life.
Yes ... and the subject: I 'Exhausting "On Saturday've got at the longest adventure race (for Mom, Dad and other English-Krueppel 'NEM very, very tough race: D) of the Philippines participated. Our team of Ivy, Noelle ('n guy) and I was, 15 of 35 We came to (... wait ... 9 clock in the morning, 23:30 at night ...) 14.5 hours a destination and were quite ready. The winner came in at 9:30 or so already, the latest were by 2 clock in the morning Bukid - the climbing gym to the last checkpoint and thus the target was.
The race consisted of over 5 km distance swimming, navigation, guidance, pedicab ride (this is the bike next to it with 'NEM passenger cars), running, and mountain climbing for the 5 or 8 best teams.
A rule was: All it has taken on luggage, you had to also bring to the finish. Ie: clothing, food, money, navigation tool, backpacks and the rest had to fall into the water (put in plastic bags before somehow, so that the whole shit was not wet).
And again just to be indicated: The first swim I have mastered, as the very first of all: D So were about 2 km. Because my teammates were so lame but (what could possibly be that Ivy can not swim properly and only started two months ago to learn it ...) I am back swimming again, and I have pulled on the rope to the beach.
The pedicab driver was also 'ne very interesting experience. With 'NEM over wide bicycle, a very strong CW has to jet through the Philippine market - this gives you just an adrenaline rush: D We were almost run over because Ivy has me gripped the steering wheel to show me that right, waits in 2 meters of sidewalk on me. Unfortunately, she forgot to look back -.-
The award ceremony and prize giving in the next day was also sauwitzig. I have a German allowed to enjoy privileges Of course, what other terms of the attention: "Even a kiss from Theo I took that. Sow cute:)
There are, as always, 'n some thoughts from Alex, this time so' n little relation to the start: I have reflected recently
my previous time in the Philippines and I had this kind inevitably raise the question whether the author of the Süddeutsche respect with his ego trips of the text had not quite yet. And I must say for my personally: he was in many ways. Although I think the program is not for so pointless and counterproductive, as he tries to present, but to a large extent, the journey on which we all so learn for us personally and collect themselves a variety of experience, do in any case 's ego trip (now apart from the non-profit effects Weltwaerts volunteers could have on society. Even if they have a lot of volunteers served as motivation). That's so 'n is an ego trip, is in the nature of Weltwaerts program. It is just a tutorial - "I'm going to help, although I am not qualified" not a typical program. I consider it highly verbesserungsfaehig and in some regions more than useless - but, as saying, that we miss with such a simple thing as the aim of the program is partially handled, is still a little ridiculous.
any case, glad that I my selfishness (which is probably more pronounced than others: D) left its course and I for the year had applied to the Philippines, I am in any case:)

"The term misery comes from the Middle High German Ellend, which stands for desert or abandoned wildlife. Misery describes a state of poverty or helplessness, coupled initially with the additional importance of isolation and outcast nature. Destitution is being used as both adjective and a noun and describes in great forms the worst possible condition .This could be largely because the family in many cases (well, in almost all cases, of which I've heard) a fairly high value added. The is here, so it seems to me sometimes, always in the minds connected present and inseparable from a person. To the family always knows what, where, with whom and why going on and has, in deciding say. If therefore quite often more radical than we Reminds me so 'n bit of Russia. D
As part of mental illness represents suffering a "profound malaise with a kind of general, difficult to describe nausea ¨ [1], the patient feels as if beaten, often severely depressed and unmotivated, ill .
In the area of physical illnesses describes misery No precise diagnosis, but first a subjective feeling. The patient feels miserable, for example after a fish poisoning, after saturation with fever, after repeated vomiting, diarrhea lasting or as a result of an ongoing migraine. This feeling is also described as depressed, numb, passive, anxious, pessimistic, and indifferent to rouse weak, around and make decisions.
In the social field, the term misery of poor living and housing conditions, homelessness, dramatic poverty, hunger and concomitant disease. Misery means both lack of resources, foreign aid and self-care, on the other hand, and the presence of adverse circumstances, such as war, corruption, oppression, neglect, vermin or threat of epidemics. "
The family is always followed by one at every turn has, by the way not only the positive (Less loneliness, help in an emergency, ...), but also 'n few of some perceived negative effects (no privacy, nepotism, oppression, little choice, ...).

Congradulate A Friend
Oh you Merry ...
The holiday season is' but what really Beautiful. Even in the Philippines. Even for atheists.
Believe me, anyway. Here, although everyone thinks I am a Protestant, But compared to atheists, they should not really be set too racist, if you look at the social structure is considered: men play is clearly the main role, 20% of them are lady boys, 80% windchill gay. Well, with ... almost 100% of the people are very religious and very, very many of these "almost 100% of the people" have very, very strong prejudice against over Muslims.
And of course Jews. Sometimes.
Very briefly, the worst example, which is not representative, but not very uncommon: My boss, the Regional Director, who is a highly respected person racks. He said to me: "Islam is a religion that was just killing other goal - and Hitler was a .. Good man "Although not in a sentence, but whatever you think you'll manage it, what a pleasant fellow he is.) In contrast, however, are almost all young people, with whom I accidentally or intentionally a conversation on religion HAD, very liberal, and other religions, despite their almost always very, eingesellt very strong faith, positive and open
are also available here also big best Bunge, bring the two sexes in society on a plane (and atheists!) -. there were with us in the DTI even 2 hours of the year-end-Regional Seminar sacrificed for 'n gender training that has dealt with the emergence of prejudice, images and the remaining standard-nonsense. (the whole thing ... fits together somehow with the ladyboy excess: D).
the evening of the seminar - at the regional DTI-Christmas party - and I have Vincent "Oh you Merry" sung in German followed by English translation, before DTI representatives throughout the region. Up to the song's was also quite good, and all were's super cool and amusing to have. This Vincent has helped in his Santa-Claus-panel 's big piece:)
I'm very curious to see how the Christmas party with the volunteers at the 24th is. She is currently an island party in Leyte Gulf off Salcedo planned. Let's hope it remains not only in the plan.
It's a pity that I require the invitation of one of the coolest DTI staff had to refuse - but one probably. also a good thing. Here we did not hear rumors that there would be at Christmas Filipinos only from drinking, eating, listening to music and dancing with the family. Of which I had lately enough. Dear besides / on 'Ner beautiful island snorkel, swim, drink and eat (yes, I know But harhar, this time it is at the end [And by the way of someone who know of something added.! So, thank you for s Interest and reading - nice (Christmas) time and I wish you all a lot of fun!
