I am now 6 months now and have received a few days ago my flight back to Germany Date: 9 August 2011
Since Christmas is the following happened: We had our volunteers' midterm camp "where we look at the remaining time with the previous six months had to reminisce. It was fun to spend another 5 days with all the volunteers together. Only I'm there, unfortunately lost one of my juggling balls.
The weekend after that I spent a couple of other volunteers at the volcano crater Quilotoa where we were very lucky with the weather! The best the last 2 months as the locals told us. We are there circles on a 5 1 / 2 hour hike to the crater lake.

The weekend after I was invited my host family to ride with them for the annual family reunion at the beach (40 aunts and uncles and cousins). I was very happy that they have invited me and it was a nice and relaxing weekend. I had just eaten nearly a shark. (See photo)

In my work I am now well integrated into the teacher team.
Recently I had a great success, I managed a boy to bring a book to read! This is unfortunately a rarity among children, especially if they are street children. I had read to the group of guys who live in the moment in the Caleta the first chapter of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (of course with an appropriate voice for each character which amused my very Italian staff has).
